Carlson Wagonlit UK Ltd has snapped up the last remaining floor at Hortons’ Estate’s Fifteen Colmore Row.
The travel management company has taken a 7,255 sq ft suite on the second floor, taking a ten-year lease at £145,000 per annum.
Hortons’ recently invested £1million upgrading the building. This included cleaning the exterior to ensure it is in keeping with the adjacent Grand, where Hortons’ four-year project to restore the building’s facades is nearing completion.
The common parts of Fifteen Colmore Row have also benefited from a facelift and the Carlson Wagonlit suite has been refurbished, with new cloakroom and shower facilities added, along with a new heating and cooling system.
The building comprises 41,000 sq ft. Occupiers include accountancy firm Dains and construction consultants Cundall and Rider Levett Bucknall.
Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank were letting agents.
Richard Norgrove, property director at Hortons’ Estate, said: “Colmore Row is Birmingham’s premier business address and office space is in great demand here. Interest in our recently launched new suites at The Grand is equally keen and we hope to be making further letting announcements soon.”
Hortons’ has 16 office suites at The Grand, ranging from 183 – 2,800 sq ft. The offices, called Imperial & Whitehall, are on the market through joint agents Johnson Fellows and Lambert Smith Hampton.
