Birmingham-based chartered surveyors Pennycuick Collins has announced the promotion of one of its long-standing employees to the position of partner.

Lyndsey Cannon-Leach, who leads the residential service charge management team at Pennycuick Collins, has been with the firm for more than 11 years.

Richard Moxon, partner at Pennycuick Collins, said: “We’re delighted to reward Lyndsey’s hard work and dedication with this promotion which is testament to how much of a valued member of the team she has become over the last decade.”

Lyndsey first joined Pennycuick Collins in April 2005 as an assistant property manager. In her time at the company she has had promotions, become accredited as a Member of the Institute of Residential Property Management (MIRPM), and is an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS).

In her new role, Lyndsey will continue to oversee a team of property managers and administrators currently managing a portfolio of 130 developments across the Midlands, including leasehold, freehold and mixed use properties. As well as developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships, Lyndsey will continue to develop the department’s customer-focused approach.

Lyndsey said: “I am proud to have been part of the Pennycuick Collins team for many years and witnessed its impressive growth in that time. The company has been instrumental in my professional development and I hope to continue adding value to the company and our clients in my new role.”

Lyndsey’s appointment comes after Pennycuick Collins announced the promotion of Martin Purslow to associate partner and the appointment of Hasan Sidat, a new addition to the building consultancy team, in June.

Pennycuick Collins is an independent partnership of professionally qualified chartered surveyors based in the heart of Birmingham city centre who practice in numerous areas of the property market including both residential and commercial property. They hold frequent property auctions and provide clients with a range of professional and management services including a strong presence in building consultancy.
