Leading Midlands commercial developer, Trebor Developments, working with funding partner, Rockspring Property Investment Managers, have commenced work on site employing Kier Construction Limited to build a 115,000 sq ft speculative industrial warehouse unit.

The project is being implemented on a fast track basis to allow completion in December 2016 and responds to a growing number of occupier requirements for quality, large, industrial premises.

Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner of Trebor Developments, commented, “Start of construction on site is always a significant milestone in any development project and project Triton will deliver the only speculative industrial warehouse accommodation being made available between Birmingham and Staffordshire on the M6 corridor.  We look forward to discussing the premises with a range of industrial occupiers.”

Staffordshire’s economy leader Mark Winnington said: “It’s great to be on site to see the start of work on the Trebor development. Redhill is now nearly fully occupied and will soon be a flagship business site for the county. Progress on site and the ongoing success of Redhill brings added confidence to potential investors. It is a fine demonstration of the county council investing where it matters and working with partners to deliver jobs and growth in Staffordshire.”

The development is being jointly marketed on behalf of Trebor Developments and Rockspring Property Investment Managers by Avison Young and Jones Lang LaSalle.
