Nexon Group, the rapidly expanding Lincoln-based cleaning and healthcare products business, is moving its city offices to brand new bespoke premises in Nettleham – creating room for further growth.

Nexon, a family-owned firm founded half a century ago, is to move around 30 of its staff to the Deepdale Enterprise Park in Nettleham – an 8,000 sq ft property designed and built by Lincs-based architects and property consultants LK2.

The property features open plan office accommodation, luxury break out areas and meeting rooms. The space will not only offer additional space for training facilities for staff – but will help Nexon’s plans for further business growth – creating more jobs for the local community.

This is the fourth building at Deepdale Enterprise Park designed and built by LK2. The park is set in Lincolnshire farmland and is just a minute from the Lincoln bypass.

Dale Lui of LK2 said: “Deepdale is a commercial enterprise park which sits comfortable into its rural setting. The buildings are in contemporary design but using traditional materials such as stone and timber.
“These buildings are popular with tenants, not just for their look, but because they are of eco-design with low running costs.”

This year, Nexon Group took a new 100,000 sq ft distribution centre in Rutland to accommodate growth plans over the next few years – and providing a more centralised distribution across the UK.

Looking to move its office facility from the city, Nexon worked with Midlands-based property agents Pygott & Crone.  Will Downing of Pygott & Crone identified Deepdale as the ideal facility for Nexon – which has more than 50 years’ experience providing services and products through the group’s specialist divisions – Nexon Hygiene, Nexon Hospitality and Nexon Industrial and Nexon Healthcare.

Don Green, director at Nexon Group, said: “We did extensive research to ascertain whether we should move out of the city. We decided that Deepdale Enterprise Park was the ideal location for our office teams –ideally placed to a road network, and it offers great facilities for staff, being so close to Nettleham village.

“We felt that moving to this park, will give us opportunity to network with other businesses in the area. We are confident that this move will help facilitate our growth, and bring further employment opportunities to the local community.”

Nexon’s sales team will be based at Deepdale – as well as its digital marketing, national logistics, finance, admin and telesales divisions.

“There are luxury large break out areas at the new building,” said Don. “This will facilitate our modern flexible working style, giving all staff scope to move around, hold training sessions and encourage collaboration across the teams. Embracing the modern work style as we continue to grow, is just part of building on our culture of care, respect, passion and excellence.

“The new facility is well designed with a bespoke office fit-out including offices and meeting rooms in an excellent working environment that is light and airy. Large training facilities for customers and prospects will be available, as Nexon continues to strive towards being a centre of excellence, and leader in the cleaning and hygiene market sectors.”

Will Downing, director of Pygott & Crone, said: “We are delighted that Nexon, an established Lincolnshire family business, will be moving to this facility – which is so well positioned in the countryside but close to all the necessary amenities for staff to enjoy.”

LK2 is also based at Deepdale Enterprise Park – and designed and built and project managed the development of its own property. LK2 also did the design and build for Wecando Flooring and Lincolnshire Football Association Headquarters.

Dale added: “We are proud to have acted as architects and contractors on these buildings. Edward Lee MP recently visited Deepdale and commented that he was impressed with the overall development and design.”
