New President for Chartered Accountants in Wales

Leighton Reed, Director at Broomfield & Alexander has been appointed as the President of the South Wales Society of Chartered Accountants.

A qualified Chartered Tax Advisor and Chartered Accountant, Leighton heads up the tax team at Broomfield & Alexander, one of Wales’ leading independent accountancy firms.

As well as vast experience on UK and International tax matters, he has extensive commercial experience gathered from working with blue chip clients and complex family company structures.

He will support the Society’s members across south and mid Wales, from Pembrokeshire to Monmouthshire, overseeing the delivery of professional development courses, seminars, networking, dinners and other business events.

Leighton Reed was formally introduced as the new Society President at their Annual General Meeting which was held at St David’s Hotel in Cardiff. He will be supported in his role by Society Vice Presidents, Kara Williams a Partner at Ellis Lloyd Jones in Newport and Harri Lloyd Davies, Partner at the Swansea firm Bevan Buckland.
