The Bristol office of commercial property specialist, Colliers International, has expanded its team in response to record growth during the first quarter of 2016.

Head of Bristol office Tim Davies said: “We have experienced growth across all departments in Q1, with figures up an average of 25 per cent and as high as 50 per cent in some sectors.

“In line with this growth, we have augmented a number of our teams to prepare for the anticipated and continued demand from clients. Our Planning and Investment Property Management teams have expanded with a total of four new recruits joining and our National Offices team was strengthened earlier this year with the appointment of Catherine Collis.”

Associate Director Tom Stanley and planner Saiqa Noreen have been joined by graduate planner George Yates, who has moved from McLoughlin Planning in Gloucester where he specialised in technically complex cases, often involving land and property within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Green Belt land between Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Mr Stanley said: “The team is presently involved in planning applications amounting to in excess of 40,000 new homes and commercial properties, mainly across the South and South West. I am delighted that George will be providing further support to our extensive client base and his background is extremely relevant with the current drive for residential and economic growth in our region.”

The Investment Property Management (IPM) team, led by Mike Bull, has been enhanced by the arrival of senior surveyor Amy Bracey, who previously worked at Hartnell Taylor Cook, where she specialised in property and asset management. She joins team members Emma Stanbridge, Helen Margetson, Sven Rickauer and James Oliver.

Mr Bull said: “The IPM team has grown significantly in the past 12 months, doubling in size from 3 to 6 members. We’re delighted that Amy has joined the team and I know we have the right team to make sure we continue to deliver a ‘best in class’ level of property management service to our clients, even as turnover has grown by some 60% in the year ending December 2015.

“We pride ourselves on our pro-active, entrepreneurial approach to management and Amy is a perfect fit for the team. I have every confidence she will be key in helping us drive forward the success of our clients in 2016.”
