Cardiff University appoints Pick Everard to £60m framework

Leading multi-professional construction industry firm Pick Everard will play a key part in delivering state-of-the-art buildings and refurbishments for Cardiff University across a four year framework.

Pick Everard, which has an office in Cardiff, has secured a place on the Building Consultants’ Framework for the university delivering project management services. The annual capital spend on construction projects will be approximately £15 million over the next four years.

Robert Cleaver, regional director at Pick Everard, said: “We are pleased to be given the opportunity to work with Cardiff University to help improve and maintain its estate.

“Because we have established strategic partnerships at the University of Warwick and the University of Lincoln, as well as a growing portfolio in Wales which includes the University of South Wales; we felt we were ideally placed to work on this framework.
“We look forward to working with Cardiff University and completing successful projects together.”

Pick Everard will be delivering projects for the university which range in value from between £1.5 and £15 million.

“The framework will develop a collaborative working arrangement that will further increase performance and deliver the highest levels of quality.”

The framework can also be used by the University of South Wales, Swansea University and Cardiff & Vale University Health Board for the delivery of project management services.

Pick Everard works with many major firms within the Wales and South Region, some of the firm’s include blue chip organisations such as EDF Energy and National Grid, public sector bodies including South Wales Police, Aberystwyth University, and contractors including Vinci and Kier.

The firm employs more than 450 staff across the UK, providing a range of project, cost and design consultancy services. It has ten UK offices.
