Brace of deals as businesses snap up industrial space in Cheltenham

Commercial property specialists Bruton Knowles report a brace of deals at Cheltenham Trade Park.

Cheltenham Trade Park comprises 42 industrial/trade counter units and two office blocks – in a prime business location within easy reach of Junctions 10 and 11 of the M5.

It is now owned by a fund managed by Canmoor Asset Management and the new owners have appointed Bruton Knowles and John Ryde Commercial to market vacant units on the estate.

Approximately 4,661 sq ft warehouse space has recently been taken within Unit 37 by Cotswold Panel Products Ltd; whilst Unit 16, a 1,603 sq ft workshop, has been snapped up by Marmalade of London.

Tessa Newton at Bruton Knowles said: “These units offer some of the best commercial property in the area and are attracting increased interest thanks to the widespread recovery across Gloucestershire.”

Built in the 1980s and 1990s in various phases, Cheltenham Trade Park offers industrial units from 1,000 to 7,500 sq ft. A typical unit will provide high quality clear open trade counter/industrial space with ancillary offices and parking. A comprehensive refurbishment of the vacant units will shortly be carried out to ensure that it offers some of the best industrial and warehousing space in the region.

Existing occupiers at the Park include Plumbase, Electric Center, Wilts and City Plumbing Supplies. Situated just one mile west of the town centre, Cheltenham Trade Park has good access via Gloucester Road or Princess Elizabeth Way to the M5 motorway at Junctions 10 and 11, each approximately three miles distant.
