Greengages Cafe, Salisbury under new ownership

Goadsby Hotels & Leisure Division are pleased to report the recent sale of Greengages Café in Salisbury to brother and sister team Richard and Louise Coleman.

The new owners who are experienced catering operators have already commenced improvements to the coffee shop and the business is now trading as a family led concern.

Louise Coleman, the joint owner who has worked in the catering industry for the past 28 years said, “We are delighted to welcome customers, both old and new to Greengages and we now provide a new full “home-cooked” menu.  The coffee shop now operates 6 days a week, from 8.30am in the morning for breakfast, through to lunches and afternoon teas.  We can cater for most customer requirements and now offer dairy and gluten free food and vegetarian options”.

Mark Nurse from Goadsby commented, “We achieved a good deal of interest for this business when it came to the market, as it is located in Central Salisbury, close to the Old George Mall.  The new owners have a strong catering background and have already introduced new ideas such as waiter service and improvements to the menu and I have no doubt they will build a very successful business at Greengages”.
