An expanding marketing and communications company has moved to a converted barn complex on the outskirts of Redditch.

With the help of property agents John Truslove, Design BP has taken The Dairies, Brockhill Court, situated in glorious open countryside.

Managing director Mark Greenway said the firm had pondered whether to move to Birmingham, but decided against it.

“We toyed with Birmingham,” he commented. “However creative agencies tend to find the peace and quiet of rural situations makes it easier to come up with ideas, and Brockhill Court is a lovely location.”

Design BP will occupy 1,110 sq ft of space on a five year lease and says it is looking to add to its 13-strong staff roster.

Its offers online marketing, web and digital, exhibitions, create and print, and software development, picking up an increasing amount of campaign-driven work.

Clients include National Express, West Bromwich Albion, South & City College Birmingham, Abbey and Lea Marston Hotels, ABB and Court Collaboration.

As part of the firm’s growth it is launching sister company Mooch Creative which will concentrate on digital and social media. It too will be based at The Dairies.

Ben Truslove, a director of John Truslove, said: “It is interesting how breathing in fresh air, superb views and being surrounded by nature somehow produces inspiration, so I wish Design BP well.

“It means Brockhill Court – both successful and always popular – is fully occupied again.”

Established 11 years ago, Design BP started at The Waterfront in Merry Hill before moving to Catshill, near Bromsgrove.
