The Bristol office of national property and construction consultancy Wakemans has been appointed by the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, St. Modwen, on the second building to be developed at its 16 acre, Gateway 12 development at Waterwells Business Park, Gloucestershire.
Work began on the 16 acre site last year and is now well underway with the first 40,500 sq.ft. unit completed for a major UK cookware and kitchenware supplier.
Work has begun on a second 40,500 sq. ft. speculative unit now under construction, with a planning application submitted to continue delivery of further buildings.
Wakemans has been appointed as employer’s agent, contract administrator and quantity surveyor. Local contractor Barnwood Construction is delivering the second building which is due for completion by August this year.
The £25m Gateway 12 scheme will continue to be developed and will include a 280,000 sq.ft Business Park comprising warehouse, industrial and office units when complete.
