TFT makes senior Scottish appointment as new office opens in Edinburgh

Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (“TFT”), the leading property and construction consultancy, has opened a new office in Scotland, at the heart of Edinburgh’s commercial district.

The Edinburgh office will be headed up by Neil Wotherspoon who joins TFT from AECOM where, until recently, he led the building surveyor team in Edinburgh. Neil joined AECOM having spent almost eight years at Watts Group plc.

Alan Pemberton, Managing Partner, TFT, said:

“The commercial property market in Edinburgh, and more widely across Scotland, is going from strength to strength as both domestic and overseas investors and occupiers look increasingly northward. And so, with increased occupier and landlord activity comes the need for expert professional advice and TFT’s seventh office will bring the same unparalleled and market-leading expertise to both current and new clients in Scotland and the North East.

“Neil’s expertise and experience is a perfect fit, and with our new business plan, we look forward to steady growth into 2016.”

Neil Wotherspoon, Senior Associate, TFT, said:

“Transactional and lease activity in Scotland are at high levels and the construction sector is healthy and growing. It is absolutely the right time for TFT to open its next office here as it maintains its excellent client servicing. On a personal note, I am delighted to be joining TFT and playing my part in its business growth.”

The office opening comes hot on the heels of TFT’s London office moving to new, larger space at 18 Holborn.
