FHP’s Brazilian love affair

FHP have been instructed by Nottingham’s specialist coffee roastery, 200 Degrees, to find new premises across the UK for their artisanal coffee houses selling their unique coffee blend, ‘Brazilian Love Affair’.

Their Midlands requirements include Derby and Leicester, and further west in Birmingham and Solihull; Northern hubs include Leeds, Sheffield, York and Harrogate; and in the South of the UK, the traditional University towns Cambridge and Oxford. To match the feel of their business, quirky locations and unique buildings are on the agenda, from 1,500 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft with additional storage, at rents up to £100,000 per annum.

They aren’t just another coffee shop on a street corner; these guys roast their own blends at their roastery in Nottingham, at precisely 200 degrees, from coffee beans sourced mostly from Rainforest Alliance Farms across the Globe, which are sold alongside a decadent selection of pastries, cakes and freshly baked savouries.

They also support others in their quest to run their own coffee businesses through barista training, recommending and supplying coffee machines, and finally, supplying their all important hand-roasted coffee.

Their prominently located coffee house on Nottingham’s Flying Horse Walk has proven such as success that a second cafe is to open next year at Nottingham Train Station, which marks just the beginning of their expansion.

Ben Tebbutt of FHP comments:

“We are delighted to be involved in taking this Nottingham born coffee house to the wider realms of the UK, to bring other cities the taste of Nottingham’s best coffee, the ‘Brazilian Love Affair’. Through our contacts of agents and landlords, we have already highlighted a number of potential opportunities.”

Tom Vincent of 200 Degrees comments:

“We have spent the last two years not only perfecting our coffee but also our customer experience and we are ready to roll out our brand.”
