Engineering services group on move to Almondsbury

Colliers International has chalked up another success, letting an office on Bristol’s northern fringe on behalf of a fund managed by Clearbell Capital.

Axis Beta, which overlooks the M4/M5 Motorway intersection on the Almondsbury interchange, has been snapped up by high tech engineering company, the Hyde Group on a five-year lease.

National offices director James Preece said the newly refurbished offices offered 4,416 sq.ft of space along with 18 onsite car parking spaces.

He said: “The office comprises the entire second floor and has been completely refurbished.

“In close proximity to the iconic RAC Regional Headquarters, Axis Beta is also close to a range of useful local amenities including a Tesco, Metro and Hilton Hotel as well as Cribbs Causeway and Parkway.”

He added: “Refurbished offices on the northern fringe offer straightforward access to the road network and are free of the traffic and parking problems associated with city centre accommodation.

“The out-of-town market has been subdued compared to last year but there are a number of reasonable-sized requirements currently reviewing options and we are optimistic that many of these will commit to space in the next six months. This bodes well for this building with further space due to become available shortly.”
