Out of town park draws business to Plymouth fringes

With commercial space under increasing pressure in the centre of Plymouth businesses are being steered to the Langage estate – the northern part of the city’s premier manufacturing location.

Commercial property specialists Bruton Knowles have been instructed by Plymouth City Council to market in excess of 20,000 sq ft of industrial space at Bowman House, just to the north of Beechwood Way.

Mark Slade from the firm’s Lockyer Street office said the premises consisted of two storeys of office space amounting to some 7,789 sq ft fronting a 13,552 sq ft industrial manufacturing floor.

He said: “Six miles to the north east of Plymouth city centre and with great road communications and access to the A38 and motorway network, Langage is making sense for businesses. It’s part of one of the largest concentrations of employment floorspace in the South West.”

Bowman House, which is available by way of a new lease, also has a surfaced yard area and parking for 56 cars.
