Building Society Invests in Sutton Coldfield town centre

A local building society has demonstrated its commitment to Sutton Coldfield town centre by doubling the size of its branch and improving its services.

The West Brom on The Parade has undergone a major upgrade, expanding into an adjacent shop unit to offer a stylish new look and recruiting an additional member of staff.

The modernised premises now have power-assisted entry doors, a welcome desk, new counters, an open plan meeting area and improved private consultation areas. There is also a browser wall and plasma screen to help keep customers informed of new products and services.

To celebrate the changes the West Brom has launched a prize draw where anyone visiting the branch between now and the end of February could win £200.

Branch Manager Heather Wall said: “The investment made in the branch shows our commitment to Sutton and local people. The feedback has been so positive from our regular customers and we have already seen new people call in.

“The improvements have created a more accessible branch, making it easier for wheelchair users and people with pushchairs, and giving us a greater presence on The Parade.

“Our new facilities are also designed to raise the standard of service we offer. We have, for example, doubled the number of private consultation rooms to four and increased the availability of our mortgage advice service.”

The West Brom is the leading regional building society in the Black Country and Birmingham and provides a broad range of financial products and services, notably savings, investments and residential mortgages.
