Humberts have recently sold Chandos House and Midas House, Heron Gate, Hankridge Way, Taunton after competitive bidding. The property provided two self-contained semi-detached office buildings which were fully let on this popular office park which is only 1⁄4 mile from junction 25 of the M5 motorway at Taunton. Each of the office blocks were available at a guide price of £315,000 for the freehold interest. Chandos House was let at a rental of £22,000 per annum, expiring on 27 April 2020 and Midas House was let on a lease at a rental of £31,500 per annum expiring on 30 July 2015 with two sub-tenants.

There seems to be a lack of prime investments around at this time and we received 12 bids for the property and went to an informal tender on the client’s instructions”.
