ECCO on track with expansion plans as the retailer opens in Edinburgh

ECCO Shoes, advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), has agreed a new store in Edinburgh as part of expansion plans in the UK.

ECCO has taken 1,871 sq ft at 122-124 Rose Street in central Edinburgh, on a 10 year lease.

ECCO has recently opened at intu Bromley and into Metrocentre and there are two further stores planned before Christmas and another 7-10 stores next year.

Amanda O’Flaherty of HDH commented: “We have a number of new stores in the pipeline for ECCO and the company has plans for a further seven to ten next year. This is an exciting time and the brand is benefiting from a strong footwear market. The Edinburgh unit takes ECCO’s UK presence to 43 stores.”

Appleton Craig advised the landlord Standard Life Investments.
