Bilfinger GVA continues to grow its national Building Consultancy team, having announced a significant expansion of its regional offer with three new appointments in Manchester.

Paul Chesworth has been appointed as director in the now 23-strong Building Consultancy team, having joined from Robinson Low Francis to expand the teams Cost Advisory offering. Chesworth brings over 20 years’ experience of traditional and design and build projects spanning  the sports and leisure, retail and hotels, public sector, commercial, industrial and health sectors.

Chesworth has been responsible for the roll-out and delivery of a range of national projects, for numerous Housing Associations, retail and leisure operators and luxury hotel operators. As part of his new role at Bilfinger GVA, Paul will also expand the National Cost Advisory services.

Graham Fairhurst, senior director, Bilfinger GVA’s Regional Head of the Building Consultancy team, said: “Paul is a valuable addition to the team in Manchester.  With his wealth of experience and strong connections across all sectors, we are confident Paul will play a strategic role in the growth of our existing national cost advisory offering, led from Manchester where we hope to make a further appointment in the coming months”.

Paul said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Bilfinger GVA’s Manchester Building Consultancy team at an important stage in its growth and national leadership. The team has an outstanding reputation and acts on behalf of some of the country’s biggest names. I’m looking forward to adding my experience to the fold.”

Shane Campion has also joined the team from RLF, where he worked with Paul Chesworth and has significant experience in the leisure sector.

And Thomas Williams is the third addition to Bilfinger GVA’s Building Consultancy team, joining to continue the growth of its core Building Surveying services.

Graham Fairhurst added: “We are pleased to welcome Paul, Shane and Thomas to the team. The appointments show the firm’s commitment to growth and providing first class advice to our clients across the UK.”
The immediate growth within its Building Consultancy team reflects that of the wider company growth plan. As Bilfinger GVA looks to bolster its position as the UK’s leading advisory outside of the capital, it continues to strengthen areas of the company that it sees as pivotal to the needs of its clients, including its Planning and Capital Markets teams.
