Developers to get a glimpse of Bristol’s bomb-blasted past

They have explored Bristol’s mysterious Redcliff caves, taken to the water to get a fresh prospective on the city’s docklands and now the Development Consulting and Agency team at Colliers International is to go back in time.

This year’s developer event on Wednesday September 16 will feature a unique guided tour of the city centre highlighting the physical impact of the Bristol Blitz.

Organised by director Chris Dawson, head of the team which covers the South West and South Wales, the annual event is aimed at Bristol-based development professionals and offers a new slant on the city centre’s most familiar landmarks.

Chris said: “Above all we are celebrating Bristol’s history – places, people and events which have shaped the city’s development.”

There will be a guided walk of Bristol city centre hosted by local historian and Bristol Post columnist Eugene Byrne, who will navigate guests around the city’s principal Blitz hotspots. Ration cards will be provided for refreshments at the Development team’s new base at 10 Templeback.
