Mazars investing in young talent

The Birmingham office of international accountancy firm Mazars has boosted its staffing strength with the arrival of 14 new faces.

It has taken on a mix of graduates, school leavers and industrial placements spread across different service lines.

They are Daniel Younan and Hannah Attley, both industrial placements, audit, Sally Ward, school leaver, audit, Dominic Morgan, school leaver, internal audit, graduates Laura Davies-Hale, Aftab Hussain, Thomas West and Oliver Wagstaff, all audit, graduates Christopher Winterborn and Ben Linday, both internal audit, Emilia Metiva, industrial placement, tax, graduates Matthew Pope and Victoria Webster, both tax, and Lucie Passelande, a French student undertaking a six month placement with the Birmingham office.

Lee Cartwright, office managing partner, said: “This is a significant commitment and reflects our ongoing growth and expansion.

“Mazars continues to invest in young people, supporting them through training, exams, building their experience and developing their talents.

“They are the lifeblood of the office and I am sure will make a very significant contribution going forward.”

Mazars has recruited a total of 47 graduates, school leavers and industrial placements across the Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester offices.
