CBRE recruits specialist surveyors

L – Dan Green and R – Lee Swain

CBRE has appointed two new surveyors in its South Central office as the demand for specialist advice continues to grow. Daniel Green joins as a Surveyor in the Professional Services landlord and tenant team and Lee Swain joins as a Graduate Surveyor in the Building Consultancy.

Daniel has joined CBRE from The Valuation Office where he spent almost two years, initially as a graduate caseworker in the Rating team and more recently with Property Services team undertaking Red Book Market Value & Market Rent reports for a variety of property types. He recently passed his Assessment of Professional Competency (APC), is a qualified chartered surveyor and RICS registered valuer.

Lee joins from the construction industry and brings with him extensive hands-on experience in both contract and party wall work. Lee will be following the fast track RICS APC route, taking advantage of his ten years’ experience in the property industry.

Daniel and Lee’s appointments further strengthen the existing Professional Services and Building consultancy teams, which demonstrate an impressive track record with a clear market focus and experience servicing clients across a broad range of sectors including offices, retail, healthcare, and banks/funds.

Commenting on the appointments James Brounger, CBRE Regional Managing Director said: “Daniel is a great addition to the professional services team as occupier confidence continues to rise. His focus on landlord and tenant advisory services is what our clients are looking for. Lee provides greater capacity to meet clients’ needs and his background in the construction industry enhances our existing technical knowledge. Both appointments strengthen the existing teams as market activity increases across the region and will ensure we continue to deliver a ‘best in class’ service to our existing and potential clients.”
