LSH steers local bike company to new base

National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has let a unit in Cross Hands Carmarthenshire to County Cycles Ltd giving the independent bike shop room for growth.

Acting on behalf of a private individual, Unit 1 at 22B Heol Stanllyd has been taken by County Cycles for a lease term of 15 years with LSH negotiating the deal.

Spanning 4,000 sq ft, the new premises are set within an established retail park with a number of big name retailers including Leekes, Farmfoods, Peacocks and McDonalds also operating within the area.

The new base which has easy access to the M4 and link roads to west Wales provides highly visible shop space together with a workshop, servicing area and customer cafe.

County Cycles, which has moved from its previous, smaller location within Cross Hands offers an extensive selection of bikes, clothing and accessories for sale in addition to specialising in building custom bikes.

Tom Rees of LSH’s agency team comments: “Cross Hands continues to prove a popular commercial location, given its proximity to both Llanelli and Carmarthen. The convenient location, coupled with good local amenities has also contributed to the development and recent completion of 12,000 sq ft of speculative office development to the north of the park.”
