National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has expanded and improved its Professional Services division with a series of new appointments and promotions.

David Jones joins the Wales-based team which headed by Bob Harlow also includes Will Hunt, Jenna Davies, Rachel Bassett, Ashley Elkin and Martyn Jones.

LSH in Wales offers a range of disciplines from Rating and Lease Advisory to Valuation and LPA work all sitting under the banner of Professional Services and part of LSH’s suite of general practice surveying services.

David joins the seven-strong team as an Associate Director bringing extensive valuation and agency experience, having graduated from the University of the West of England and worked for the past nine years at Hutchings and Thomas, a multi disciplinary practice within South East Wales.

In addition to David’s new appointment there have also been a duo of professional service promotions with Rachel Bassett rising to Senior Surveyor status. Rachel is currently studying for election to NARA (The National Association of Fixed Charge and Property Receivers) in order to strengthen the Region’s Asset and Debt Advisory service.

Jenna Davies, who joined LSH in 2011 as a graduate, has recently qualified, passing her RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and is now specialising in Rating.

“I’m delighted to welcome David to LSH and pleased that our team has not only expanded in line with the demands of our clients, but also extended its core capabilities,” comments Bob Harlow.

“Having a Professional Services team that works together means that we offer our clients an integrated service which allows us to make a difference. We are committed to adding value where possible, thinking far beyond the initial instruction to ensure that we comprehensively address our clients’ property issues.”

LSH opened its offices in Cardiff and Swansea in 2000 and 2006 respectively and remains the only national firm to operate in both cities in the Principality. Furthermore, LSH has won the title of Estate Gazette’s Most Active National Agent in Wales for the past eight consecutive years.

LSH Wales’ headcount now stands at 30 with over 1400 people employed nationally across 31 office locations throughout the UK.
