New year, new start for NG’s graduate surveyor

NG Chartered Surveyors is starting 2012 with the recruitment of Henry Henson, a graduate surveyor from Nottingham Trent University.

Henry joins the team with a degree in property, investment and finance. He will spend the next two years working towards his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

He said: “I’m very excited to be joining the NG team. During my university studies I followed the work of local surveying firms – and now I’ve joined one of the best in Nottingham.

“I’m looking forward to learning about agency life and being mentored by Richard Sutton and Jonathon Seddon, who are partners at the firm. My new role will provide me with the breadth of training necessary to complete the APC and obtain the chartered status.

“I’ll be helping with agency instructions on commercial sales and rentals, plus in due course I’ll be been given the opportunity to manage my own portfolio of clients.”

Jonathon Seddon, who heads the agency team at NG, said: “We’re delighted to have Henry join us.  As a practice, we aim to deliver a premium service to our clients and Henry’s appointment will allow us all to spend more quality time with each client.

“We pride ourselves in recognising the true value of our people and we are constantly looking to develop our team and source new talent.  Henry is the latest appointment in NG’s graduate recruitment scheme following Sunny Landa’s recent qualification as an MRICS and I am sure he will be a great asset to us.”
