Roofing company finds gem of a property

The sky is the limit for a roofing company which has bought new premises in Salisbury’s busiest industrial area.

Ruby Roofing Supplies is relocating from Hulse Road to the modern unit at the Glenmore Business Park on Churchfields Industrial Estate.

Myddelton & Major successfully negotiated the sale of the industrial unit on a quoted freehold price of £160,000.

Rachael Ward, senior surveyor at Myddelton & Major, said: “As an expanding business, Ruby Roofing Supplies are a welcome addition to the modern Glenmore Business Park.

“The firm will find a natural home in the Churchfields area which already has strong representation from trade and retail occupiers.”

Rachael added: “The latest figures in the influential Markit/CIPS purchasing managers’ index showed a lift in construction activity in the first month of this year.

“It is an encouraging start to 2015 as we see confidence continue to return across all sectors of the commercial property market.”

Ruby Roofing Supplies has bought unit 6 at the park in Telford Road, which extends to a total of 2,061 sq ft (191 sq m).

With trade counter and warehouse space on the ground floor, the premises also benefits from a first floor mezzanine office.

Trade and retail occupiers nearby include Plumb Center, Builder Center, Magnet, Speedy Tool Hire, Travis Perkins and JT Sydenhams Buildings Supplies.
