Green light for Enterprise House offices at Junction 21

Work will now start in a matter of weeks to build a new 26,000 sq ft landmark office building adjacent to J21 of the M5.

The 26,000 sq ft office building will accommodate the latest phase of the successful Dowlas development, Weston Gateway Business Park.  The park has already attracted a HQ occupier in the form of Knightstone Housing. Weston Gateway is located close to Junction 21 of the M5 motorway, next to Worle Parkway mainline station providing unrivalled transport links.  As such it is the perfect strategic location for office occupiers from across the region.

North Somerset Council have unlocked the project by agreeing to take a new 15 year head lease on space within the building. The innovative move by NSC will secure the project whilst tenants are sought for the entire 26,000 sq ft in suites from circa 2,500 sq ft.

The building is ideally positioned to provide the highest grade, energy efficient office space. Ideal for inward investment from a range of occupiers including the Nuclear Industry associated with Hinkley Point located circa 20 miles to the south.

Enterprise House has been designed by Angus Meek Architects to provide a sophisticated, modern design with clean lines and carefully considered detailing. The building has been designed to a BREEAM of ‘Very Good’, with a wide range of tenure options available. It will be prominently positioned on the Park fronting the A370. The site is ‘oven ready’ with all utilities including fibre optics installed and the target date for completion of Enterprise House is early 2016.

North Somerset Council and the Local Enterprise partnership are committed to securing investment and employment in the J21 area. Enterprise House is a key element of this plan.
