Two Welsh companies have been announced as the new shirt sponsors for Aviva Premiership rugby club London Welsh.
Cardiff-based telecommunications company TWL Voice and Data is London Welsh’s main shirt sponsor and Chepstow-headquartered SD Sealants & Cosmetic Repair, the UK’s leading sealant and cosmetic repair company, will feature prominently on the Club’s sleeve.
The logo of TWL Voice and Data will appear on the front of all London Welsh playing kit for the Club’s Aviva Premiership fixtures until the end of the 2014/15 season.
TWL Voice and Data won the right to become the Club’s main shirt sponsor by entering London Welsh Sponsorship Club’s Raffle. The draw for which was made at the London Welsh Business Club networking lunch, where the guest speakers were Secretary of State for Wales, Stephen Crabb MP and former Wales and British & Irish Lions legend Martyn Williams.
In front of over 100 guests at the London Welsh Business Club’s third sold out event the winners were picked at random by Mr Crabb.
The second prize of sleeve branding went to SD Sealants and their logo will now appear on London Welsh’s sleeve for the remainder of the 2014/15 season.
London Welsh’s new playing shirt had its first public airing at the club’s Aviva Premiership clash with Sale Sharks at the Kassam Stadium.
London Welsh Chief Executive Mike Stevens said: “I am delighted to have both TWL Voice & Data and SD Sealants branding on the playing kit, joining current kit sponsors Henmans Freeth, easycopiers, Rhino Teamwear, MSC Nutrition and Solar Communications. I am also pleased to welcome R&SD Risk Management as an Executive Box holder for the remainder of the season. We are always looking to bring in new partners to the club and I am delighted these leading brands will be partnering with London Welsh.”
Established in 2003, TWL Voice and Data provides a wide range of telecommunications products of services such as telephone systems, data cabling, broadband, mobile and maintenance. TWL are fully authorised Mitel, HellermannTyton and Excel partners.
