MNB Precision expands in Coventry with property acquisition

A Coventry based engineering company has taken the next step in the development of their business and have purchased a detached 30,000 sq ft warehouse / production unit just off Torrington Avenue, on Binns Close. MNB Precision Ltd, a family run business established 30 years ago, will now undertake extensive refurbishment of the premises while production continues at their existing facility close-by at Falkland Close.

MNB Precision Ltd specialise in the production of precision engineered components, predominantly providing CNC precision machining services to the oil and gas industry. Over the past few years they have experienced rapid, ongoing, growth which has required significant investment into new machinery and an expanding workforce. Their new home at Binns Close will provide an excellent platform for further expansion and will enable MNB Precision Ltd to continue their relationship with the local labour market.

Luke Benton, Director at MNB Precision Ltd commented “ We are continuing to experience fast growth and the acquisition of Binns Close will enable us to expand whilst still providing outstanding quality for our customers. We have a very specialist and committed workforce, and our additional investment in this location will enable us to retain key skills and recruit as necessary. “

Chris Keye of Darby Keye Property acted on behalf of MNB Precision Ltd providing advice throughout the acquisition. He comments  “ MNB Precision Ltd have made a very timely and strategic purchase. They witnessed first-hand the contraction in the industrial property market and wanted to strike sooner rather than later. The plans for Binns Close are impressive and post refurbishment this property will make a statement”.
