LSH strengthens Birmingham team

A new associate director has been appointed at national property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) in Birmingham, boosting its building surveying team further.

Seonaid Brown joins LSH following spells at Smith Gore and Jones Lang Lasalle, where she was a chartered building surveyor working across a wide range of disciplines, including residential, industrial, office, retail, education and social housing sectors.

A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with six years’ post-qualification experience, Seonaid is vice-chair of the RICS Matrics West Midlands committee, which looks after the interests of those entering the surveying profession.

The Nottingham Trent University graduate, where she attained a first class building surveying degree, also assists with the APC process for aspiring building surveying/ architectural technologist graduates.

Seonaid, from Solihull – a keen fundraiser who took part in a charity walk from London to Brighton for the British Heart Foundation – said she was keen to join LSH because it is a company that has ambitions to expand across the country.

“LSH is a dynamic business that has a reputation for providing a first-class service across the whole commercial property sector,” she said. “Being appointed associate director is the logical next step in my career and I am thrilled to be joining LSH’s building surveying team.”

Welcoming Seonaid to LSH, Alexa Cotterell, director of building consultancy in Birmingham, said: “Seonaid’s arrival comes at a time when we are making a concerted effort to expand our profile and portfolio across the city and beyond. Her expertise in a wide range of sectors and clients will bring a wealth of knowledge to our existing, highly talented team.”
