Winning Pitch doubles offices at Exchange Quay

Business enhancement specialist, Winning Pitch, has doubled the size of its offices at Exchange Quay, signing a new five year lease for 8,281 sqft of offices on the 7th floor of Number 8 as the business prepares to grow its Salford Quays based team to 150 in the next two years. Agents on Exchange Quay are Savills, Matthews & Goodman and Canning O’Neill, Winning Pitch was unrepresented.

Winning Pitch provides enterprise training and high growth consultancy services to individuals and companies, business is great and this means further expansion for the successful company which currently employs around 120 staff from offices at Exchange Quay, Cardiff, Gateshead, Liverpool and Leeds. The move follows Winning Pitch’s recent securing of £2.5m of investment, managed by Enterprise Ventures, to develop a new Skills for Growth division.

The company was established in 2005 and moved into a 4,100 sqft office on the 8th floor in Number 8 at Exchange Quay in 2012 with around 30 staff, more than doubling in size in the last two years to 76 with an additional 20 staff on the road in the North West.

The 433,637 sqft Exchange Quay office complex has recently received planning permission to commence its £10M transformation which will include upgrading the six office buildings to Grade A specification, extensive remodelling of the whole public realm and the creation of a vibrant working environment through the introduction of a range of occupier facilities including; a restaurant, gymnasium, convenience store with Post Office, a management suite and a completely redeveloped amenity ‘hub’. The full works are set to complete in spring 2015.

Exchange Quay’s six office buildings range from 26,151 sqft to 116,684 sq ft. The development, which also boasts its own dedicated Metrolink tram stop, is strategically located just off Trafford Road which links Salford Quays to both Manchester City Centre and the major motorway networks via the M602.

Other high profile occupiers such as Kin-Tec Electronics and Sage UK are also in occupation at Exchange Quay and it was recently confirmed that Analysys Mason and Aegon UK have both committed to the development for a further 10 years.
