Cyient, the global engineering, network and operations solutions group headquartered in Hyderabad, India, has relocated its UK office from Almondsbury to Portishead to facilitate continued expansion.
The UK division, established in Bristol in 2007 to service clients in the UK and Scandinavia, has leased 3,439 sq ft of high quality office space in the ground floor Units 2C and 2D at Marine View Office Park in Portishead.
It has taken the accommodation on a 10 year lease off a quoting rent of £12.50 per sq ft. The firm was advised by Gale Priggen & Co while Alder King represented the landlord PMH Western.
Tom Dugay of Alder King’s office agency team said: “Portishead is now home to a growing number of successful high tech occupiers including Viper Subsea, a sub-sea engineering company which relocated into larger headquarters at Marine View earlier this year. We are now speaking to a number of other high tech firms about the remaining office suites and are hopeful the letting success will continue.”
Alder King is marketing the remaining 22,000 sq ft of accommodation at Marine View Office Park which is available in self-contained suites starting from 1,700 sq ft.
