Independent business secures new premises in the heart of Nottingham

Local retailer Green Healthcare Ltd has moved to 7 Trinity Square, following a deal by commercial property consultants Innes England.

Green Healthcare Ltd, which is owned by Dr. Chang, has taken up residence in a central Trinity Square location, providing herbal remedies and acupuncture services. Dr Chang, a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, previously worked as a TCM Doctor at China Healthcare at the intu Victoria Centre before relocating the business to Trinity.

Innes England acted on behalf of the previous tenants of the property, Rayner & Keeler t/a Lancaster & Thorpe opticians.  Having traded at Trinity successfully for a number of years, Rayner and Keeler were purchased as part of a group acquisition by Vision Express earlier this year, and their services were transferred to the nearby Vision Express at Victoria Centre.

Following a short marketing campaign, the centrally located retail unit attracted the attention of a number of independent businesses, showing the high demand for well positioned retail space throughout the city, especially in Trinity Square.

The letting of the unit was handled by Kate Richardson of Innes England, she said: “We are seeing an influx of independent businesses throughout the city. It is great to see independents thrive in Nottingham and arrivals such as Green Healthcare Ltd reflect the diverse high street offer.

“The move to Trinity Square for Dr Chang acts as part of the area’s ongoing regeneration, which has seen it transformed over recent years, with a particular surge in popularity following the completion of the public realm works by Nottingham City Council.

“The location is a great hub for socialising and shopping and the arrival of independent businesses, such as Dr. Chang’s will continue to add to the vibrancy and diversity of the area.”
