New Subway store creates 12 jobs at Victoria Junction A30

A brand new Subway store has opened its doors to the public in St Austell. Situated within the new service station at Victoria Junction A30, the launch will create around 12 new jobs for the local area.

The new QSR (quick service restaurant) enjoys a modern and dynamic design in the franchise’s familiar ‘metro’ specification.

Store co-owner, Harvey Brown, said: “Co-owner Matt Symons and I are delighted to bring a Subway store to the service station at Victoria Junction. It’s ideally placed on the busy A30 which enjoys a high volume of passing traffic. The fresh, modern interior complements the range of Subs and salads we have on offer and we’re confident busy shoppers will enjoy the range of healthier lunchtime choices available.”

This latest Subway store opening forms part of ambitious development plans to launch a further 15 stores in the Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Channel Islands territory over the next four months – an area which is managed by regional development agent, Kevin Graham.

Kevin said: “It’s fantastic to see the Subway brand establish a presence at the new Victoria Junction service station.  We have very ambitious growth plans for the South West region and are looking to open 120 new stores by 2020. We know our customers want variety and choice when it comes to their dining and our impressive range of healthier choices means we can cater to all tastes.”
