The Midlands office of leading commercial property advisor GVA has announced a new appointment to its Retail team. Sahar Rezazadeh joins the team as a Graduate Surveyor, having previously worked with Savills Plc, acting for landlords and international retailers.
Sahar has gained extensive experience of commercial property sector, particularly the completion of valuation reports for loan security, investment, insurance and balance sheets.

Sahar’s appointment has come at a great time, as growing numbers of retailers and occupiers across the region look to take more space in a positive upswing in the property market.
“This is a great time for us as we continue to see a renewed confidence in the retail property sector, underpinned by a number of recent appointments to high profile schemes including the refurbished Mailbox and National Indoor Arena. Sahar will be a huge benefit to the Midlands retail team as we continue to evolve and strengthen.”
Over the course of her career, Sahar has gained extensive experience of the retail industry, working alongside companies including Savills Plc and Initial Property Birmingham, as well gaining international experience as an intern at Mubadala Development in Abu Dhabi.
Sahar said: “I am pleased to be joining the retail team at GVA during an exciting period of growth and expansion in the Midlands and across the wider UK. I look forward to contributing to the team and offering advice on all aspects of the retail property field to our clients.”
GVA’s retail team has seen substantial growth over the past five years and has now returned to pre-recession strength, with over 30 people working across the business’s regional offices.
