Strong expansion signal with telecom firm’s HQ relocation

One of the top private technology firms in the UK has relocated its headquarters within Hampshire.
 
In a property deal through real estate adviser Hughes Ellard, Peach Telecom moved into two-storey St Andrew’s House at 4440 Parkway, Solent Business Park, Whiteley, following a four-week fit-out by ODT Business Interiors.
 
The 9,006 sq ft (836 sq m) office, built in 2003 as part of an office campus called The Links and named after famous golf courses, has been let for an undisclosed figure to Peach, with a five-year full repairing and insuring lease.
 
Sole agent Hughes Ellard acted for a private investor who acquired St Andrew’s House as an investment when it was let to construction company Rok, with the office put on the market at the start of the year.

Peach, which provides telecoms services to companies and has 65 staff, was listed ninth this year in The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table, which ranks Britain’s 100 private technology companies with the fastest-growing sales over the latest three years.
 
The company has more than doubled its turnover in the last two years, growing organically and through acquisitions which included Vantage Communications, Harmony Solutions and Pro-Voice.

Peach, which has 5,000 customers in the small-to-medium enterprise sector and recorded a £7.1m turnover in 2010, was previously based at Hedge End Business Park for five years.

The company supplies fixed lines and calls, broadband, telephone systems, maintenance on all makes of telephone systems, data solutions, hosted telephony and a 118 directory.

ODT Business Interiors, itself headquartered at Solent Business Park, did the fit-out of St Andrew’s House for Peach.
