South Wales law firm appoints hat trick of new partners

A trio of lawyers at a South Wales legal practice Quality Solicitors Rubin Lewis O’Brien has been appointed new partners at the firm.

The three new partners, Damian Lines, Laura Selby and Rhys Warren, who specialise in Elderly Client Continuing Care, Wills and Probate and Childcare and Family law, are all based at the firm’s head office in Gwent Square, Cwmbran.

The new appointments bring the firm’s current team of partners to nine.

Damian Lines, a solicitor in the Wills and Probate team, joined the firm three years ago. From Pontypool, he now lives in Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran.

Damian recently obtained his STEP qualification (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), being one of a very few practitioners in the South Wales area to have done so.

A keen musician Damian sings bass with local choir, the Cwmbran Baroque Singers.

Laura Selby, who trained with the firm before qualifying as a Solicitor, also lives in Cwmbran. Married, Laura is a specialist adviser on Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications, Trusts and Care Home Fees.

Rhys Warren, who also qualified with the firm in the childcare department, qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and continues to specialise in Childcare Proceedings. Rhys was admitted onto the specialist Law Society Children Panel in 2011. Rhys is also a keen Newport County fan and is a committee member of the Newport County AFC Trust.
