New occupiers announced for Atria Edinburgh

Alliance Trust, an investment and savings company with investment trust status, has taken a suite on level 7 of Atria One facing Morrison Street, comprising approximately 7,700 sq ft, on a 15 year Full Repairing and Insuring lease.  The firm, which also has offices in Dundee and London and employs over 250 workers in total, is relocating from premises on George Street due to business expansion.

Lothian Pension Fund, which provides pension services for local government employees and is one of the largest organisations of its kind in the UK, has also acquired a suite in Atria One.  The organisation has taken space extending to circa 4,400 sq ft on the first floor on a 15 year Full Repairing and Insuring lease.

Brewin Dolphin, Green Investment Bank and PwC are already operating from new premises in Atria One and global IT firm IBM has taken a suite on level 5 within an existing tenant’s space. The EICC (Edinburgh International Conference Centre) has relocated from its premises in Conference House to Atria Two, taking level 2 of the building.  The EICC will use the 6,700 sq ft suite for its back office function.

Ben Reed, director at JLL and joint letting agent for Atria, said:  “It is great news that we are announcing yet more tenants for this fantastic building.  These particular lettings to Alliance Trust Plc and Lothian Pension Fund demonstrate our ability to accommodate organisations looking for smaller suites.  In particular, there is a stunning suite on the top floor, extending to 3,875 sq ft, still available in Atria One.”

Space in both Atria One and Two remains available.
