Double recruitment for DTZ’s investment team

DTZ today announced further expansion of its Investment Agency business with the appointment of two people to its growing team. James Kinsler and Simon Marshall both join as Senior Surveyors.

James joins DTZ’s investment team to provide disposal and acquisition advice across a wide range of commercial property. He joins from GVA where he spent six years working with clients such as KPMG, the Nationwide Building Society, HSBC and Dunfermline Building Society.  Working most recently in the Corporate Recovery department, his previous role included providing a wide range of asset management and disposal advice to LPA Receivers and Administrators across all property types.

Simon Marshall joins the team from Savills, where he was working as an associate in the Valuation team.  Following 12 months of retail agency specialisation at Burns Property Consultancy in Liverpool, Simon joined Savills in January 2010, initially in the retail team, before moving to Commercial Valuation. His previous clients include RBS, Santander, Nationwide, Aviva, DVS and Valad.

Bruce Poizer, Head of DTZ’s Investment Agency team comments:  “We are delighted with these appointments which mean that DTZ in Manchester can now offer an eight strong dedicated investment team across both commercial and residential/student sectors.

“DTZ’s clients ongoing are seeking our assistance as the demand for investment opportunities continues to increase. We have traditionally served both local and national clients but a rise in demand for investment stock from our international client base, including those from Asia, has been particularly noticeable of late.

“Our relationships with both occupiers and investors ensure that we are well placed to advise on any kind of investment opportunity. We are committed to delivering high quality service to our clients and the appointment of James and Simon to our growing team will help us meet and exceed their objectives in this dynamic environment.”

DTZ recently announced further expansion of its Student Residential business with the appointment of two people to its growing team.
