CBRE responds to demand for major asset valuation

A number of high profile City Centre instructions have resulted in the Leeds office of CBRE strengthening its National Valuation & Advisory Services team to meet the client demand for its services.

The Leeds team has recently been responsible for the valuation of major assets within the City such as New Dock, Bridgewater Place and The Pinnacle. The valuation works have played a role in enabling the refinancing of these significant Leeds assets and have additionally resulted in an expansion of the CBRE Leeds team.

CBRE has recruited Scott Morrison from Eddisons as a Surveyor and Abigail Burns as Office Administrator.

Michael Porter, Director of National Valuation & Advisory Services at CBRE Leeds, said; “The requirement by owners of some of the City’s most well-known and significant assets to ascertain recent valuations of their properties has resulted in a very busy time for the Valuation team. Whilst our work spans the whole of the North of England, we have witnessed an upsurge in activity within Leeds City Centre in recent months. The refinancing of important schemes such as these facilitates their long-term success and as such plays a key role in the regeneration of the City. We are delighted to be welcoming new members to our busy team.”
