Jewellery Quarter deal

Mason Young Property Consultants have recently sold the Freehold interest of a 14,356 sq ft industrial unit to Impulse Fashion Accessories.

The industrial building, formerly occupied by Bervale Holdings Ltd who went into receivership earlier this year, was only marketed for a period of 4 weeks at £375,000 before a sale price was agreed.

Harry from Impulse commented how the opportunity arose for him to purchase their own building after renting various units for many years: “The premises were ideally located for our family business as it allowed us to create a showroom as well as being a central location for all of our clients to come and view our extensive range of fashion accessories.”

Jewellery Quarter specialists, Mason Young Property Consultants were appointed on behalf of the LPA receiver.  Arjamand Farooqui from Mason Young commented: “Even though the unit was in a bad state, we were surprised with the level of interest received.  This was largely due to its location and the marketing price which was more realistic than other units that have been on the market in the vicinity for quite some time.”

Joint marketing agents were Lambert Smith Hampton.
