Chair of Newport Unlimited retires after seven years

Grant Watson, Chairman of Alder King Property Consultants, has retired as Chairman of the board of Directors of Newport Unlimited after being in role since 2004.

Alder King is the leading firm of Property Consultants in the South West and South Wales and Grant Watson has dedicated more than 50 years to the practice, which has enthusiastically supported his involvement with Newport Unlimited.

During his time on the Board, Grant has been involved in the regeneration of the local community. His expertise and experience in the world of property has helped in the creation of over three thousand full time jobs and a contribution of £218m into the Newport economy. Grant has led the company through challenging economic conditions and changing Governments, both in the Welsh Assembly and United Kingdom.
