New role for Philip Holmes at Vail Williams

Vail Williams, commercial property consultancy, has announced a new head of Business Space for its Portsmouth office.

Philip Holmes joined the Business Space team with Vail Williams in February 2012 having previously worked with property consultancies in Southampton. A Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors who studied his degree at Portsmouth University, Philip has lived in the Portsmouth area for 20 years and has taken on the role following the departure of Ross Moyler from the team.

Philip works alongside Andy Gibbs, head of Business Space in Southampton, and advises clients on property consultancy across the M27 region from Chichester to Bournemouth and Poole. He brings a wealth of experience to the Vail Williams team.

Philip has acted for a number of clients during his career from private clients to major pension funds and now focuses on the acquisition and disposal of office, industrial and logistics space and development land on the South coast.

“I am delighted to have taken over the role at Vail Williams and while we remain in a challenging market, we have been involved in several significant deals in the region recently and I am optimistic we are now seeing improvements in activity,” said Philip.

Vail Williams recently relocated from Port Solent to new offices at thriving business district at Lakeside North Harbour.

“I believe it is vitally important for any landlord or occupier to seek advice when making strategic business decisions which involves a change in their property needs. We can add value for our clients by using our skills and expertise to devise a property strategy that assists them in fulfilling their ultimate business goals,” added Philip.
