Parkinson Wright supports ‘Polonia in Worcester’

Worcester’s Mayor will be welcoming guests to the launch of the Polish Community Association “Polonia in Worcester” at the Guildhall on Thursday evening.  Supported and attended by Wychavon District Council, Parkinson Wright solicitors and MIRA (Migration and Integration in Rural Areas), the evening will be about acknowledging and celebrating the input that the Polish community brings to Worcestershire.

Polish national trainee solicitor, Marcin Patrzala from Parkinson Wright solicitors is particularly interested in the association, seeing the need for legal Polish translation services to meet increasing demand.  Marcin comments, “The Polish community in Worcester is growing and making a positive impact to our community.  This is what ‘Polonia in Worcester’ celebrates.  As more and more Poles choose to settle here we can offer them the same legal services but in their own language.  This is important for families but also for businesses that are looking to network and build entrepreneurial enterprise in the area.  We alongside other local businesses can help the integration of the Polish community into our society.”

The evening starts at 5.30pm with welcome and opening remarks from Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Dr David Tibbutt followed by presentations and the signing of the Polish Community Association’s Constitution.
