GVA secures letting and savings of £50,000 for client Leasedrive

A cross-discipline team from leading independent property consultancy GVA has successfully relocated the Birmingham office of UK vehicle management company Leasedrive to new office accommodation at Blythe Valley Park, Solihull, West Midlands.

Leasedrive, the largest independent, privately-owned vehicle management group in the UK, has taken 15,000 sq ft at Phoenix House.

The team from GVA, which was made up of members of the building and office agency divisions, handled every aspect of the relocation from Leasedrive’s previous office at International House, near Birmingham Airport, from identifying a suitable location to arranging for new furniture and project managing the move itself.

By working in unison with our building team, we have relocated the Birmingham office to a suitable location nearby and, by ensuring that the group wasn’t paying over the odds for fit-out, have actually saved it in the region of £50,000.

“Leasedrive’s previous space had become unsuitable for its requirements and the group was looking for a very specific environment that would reflect the quality values of its brand and allow it to bring its team together on a single floorplate, while still enabling future expansion.

“The flexibility offered by the lease and additional remaining space on the floorplate ensures that Leasedrive has a number of options regarding occupancy at Phoenix House, providing ready-to-use space should the company continue to grow in the near future.”

First established in 1983, Leasedrive provides a range of services, from corporate fleet management to short and mid-term vehicle rental.

The GVA team ensured that not only were we moving into an office suite that served our needs, but that this relocation was project managed at every stage with the highest levels of professionalism.

The Park is also well connected both nationally and internationally, sitting adjacent to the M42 motorway and with Birmingham Airport just five minutes away.

Leasedrive is joining existing occupiers at Blythe Valley Park including hospitality supply chain specialist iTradeNetwork, leading international business hardware and software developer Oracle, engineering and consultancy firm Arup, heavy machinery specialist Caterpillar and electronics giant Siemens.
