Yorkshire Bank appoints invoice finance partner for the East Midlands

ifpYorkshire Bank has strengthened its senior business and private banking team in the East Midlands with the appointment of a new invoice finance partner.

Richard Crossfield will be based at Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre on Castle Meadow Road in Nottingham and will support businesses across the East Midlands.

The 32-year-old is returning to the city having worked at Yorkshire Bank in Nottingham for two years between 2007 and 2009. Since 2009 he has suuported the Bank’s customers in his home county of Yorkshire.

Invoice finance allows businesses to access up to 85 per cent of an invoice’s value as soon as it is issued.

Yorkshire Bank’s £1bn Business Expansion Fund was recently launched to support growing businesses, including access to £100m of funding for invoice finance.

Richard said: “The invoice finance funding underlines the Bank’s commitment to businesses across the East Midlands.

“Poor cashflow, and invoices not being paid on time are two of the biggest issues facing SMEs. Invoice finance is a vital service for many businesses, and is certainly a service of which more businesses can take advantage.”
