Saracen strengthens its business development team

Saracen Interiors has appointed two business development managers, Geraldine Milward and Gilly Maher, to add to its expanding new business team. The team has recently launched three new divisions – Saracen Facilities, Saracen Small Works and Saracen Move Management – and the appointments are expected to bolster the sales pipelines of these new divisions as well as having an impact on the forward order book for the South East office interiors specialist’s larger fit out projects.

With over ten years industry experience and a strong sales and marketing background, Geraldine is adept at identifying and developing new business opportunities and exploring new markets, while Gilly is an experienced business-to-business sales consultant with a strong customer service track record. Both managers have been appointed with the expectation that their skills will complement each other’s. Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page explains: “We have experienced rapid growth in the last twelve months and, having made the decision to launch the new divisions and to widen our service offering, we now require a larger pool of sales staff with a wider range of expertise and experience.

“Both business development managers are working from a different knowledge base, however they share a high level of determination and an enthusiasm and passion for the job that sets them above their peers. We look forward to achieving great things with them on board and welcome their input.”

Geraldine Milward comments: “I’m delighted to join the team, particularly at such an exciting point in the company’s history. Saracen is renowned for its design expertise and for the work it does pre-construction to ensure that each project meets the client’s expectation. As a result, it has a strong clientbase. Added to this, it has the neccesary sales and marketing tools in place to facilitate further progression.”

Gilly Maher adds: “This is a new and exciting opportunity which will allow me to bring my experience from other sectors to bear and focus on building long-term relationships. I look forward to playing a key role in driving the company’s strategy for growth and achieving good, solid results.”

Saracen’s recent clients include TE Connectivity, Aspect Property Group, Flight Safety, CH2M Hill, Countrywide PLC, Knight Frank, Mitie Engineering, Pizza Hut, Redrow, Soccer World, Thames Water, Toshiba, Trident Trust, Viatel, BAE Systems, Sue Ryder Care, Sandhurst School, North Surrey Primary Care Trust, Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital NHS Trust.
