Stoneleigh Park hires two leading propety companies to spearhead growth

Stoneleigh Park has hired two leading property companies to help spearhead its growth into a science park.

LaSalle Investment Management, which now has a 150-year lease on the site, is progressing with major plans to transform the Warwickshire site over the next 15 years into a centre for science, business and rural innovation.

It has hired Wareing & Company and Knight Frank to market existing commercial property space on the estate as well as providing valuation, letting and development advice as the new science park takes shape.

Colin Hooper, Stoneleigh Park Estates Director, said the two companies would play a vital role in the success of the venture.

“We have ambitious plans to revitalise Stoneleigh Park over the next 15 years to create a centre for science, business and rural innovation. There will be an emphasis on sustainability, the environment, agriculture, equine and forestry as well as rural business and research activities.

“That will not only mean driving forward new investment and attracting new tenants who are in line with the vision, but also ensuring our existing tenants are a central part of the development.

“Wareing & Company and Knight Frank will be key to that. They both have proven track records and know the market extremely well.”

Wareing & Company, based in Leamington Spa, are independent property consultants and surveyors operating throughout the Midlands and along the M40 and M42 corridors.

Andrew Wall, a director of the firm, said: “We know the Stoneleigh Park site extremely well and it is great to see the plans which will help it achieve its potential.

“It has long been recognised as a centre for rural business, but the development into a science park will take it to a totally new level.”

Jamie Phillips, associate partner based at Knight Frank in Birmingham, said: “LaSalle has very exciting plans for the development of Stoneleigh Park and we are very much looking forward to helping them become a reality.”

“The park has a superb location and environment as well as a heritage in rural industry.”

Knight Frank has 244 offices and employs more than 7,067 professionals on five continents.
