Knight Frank appointed to advise on Alexandra Palace regeneration

Knight Frank has been appointed to advise on proposals for the regeneration of Alexandra Palace.

Duncan Wilson OBE, Chief Executive, said; “We are pleased to have appointed Knight Frank to assist us in taking forward our proposals for the regeneration of Alexandra Palace. We have exciting plans for the Palace, and have submitted an application to the Heritage Lottery Fund to enable us to restore the historic BBC TV studios and Victorian Theatre to make them accessible to the public as a visitor attraction and community/cultural resource. Knight Frank is advising us on the commercial elements of the wider regeneration programme such as the potential for a hotel, and will be seeking appropriate partners.”

Duncan Thomas, partner at Knight Frank said; “We are delighted to be advising the Trust on the regeneration of this iconic London landmark. Ally Pally has established itself as a well-known and much loved venue. Following an initial review and soft market testing exercise, we expect to begin the formal search for appropriate partners in the summer of this year. The aim is to attract fresh investment, ideas and energy to build on the current successful events business and to position the Palace better for the future.”
