Concept staffing, originally launched in 1988, became part of the Acorn Group, one of the UK’s leading recruitment and training companies, in 2007. Since then it has continued to trade under its own brand while benefiting from being part of a much wider Group. With branches across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Wiltshire, the newly Acorn-branded business will continue to be the South West’s leading provider of permanent and temporary recruitment.

The Acorn Group has experienced rapid growth and expansion since its inception in 1992. It currently has 38 branches across Wales, the West Country, the North West of England, London and the South East, placing up to 5,000 people into around 850 different client companies every week and securing 1,700 permanent placements each year.
The last 12 months have been a landmark year for the business as it celebrates 20 years as one of the leading recruitment and training agencies in the UK and is marking the anniversary by raising £20,000 for 20 different charities across England and Wales. Acorn has also launched its new Global Division, which has seen the company open offices in Australia and Singapore.
